Grievance Redressal Committee:

A centralized committee was formed since 2008 , dedicated to addressing and resolving student grievances and complaints confidentially. The committee aims to uphold the college’s dignity by fostering a peaceful environment among students and between students and teachers. It provides an accessible mechanism for resolving grievances promptly to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere. The committee encourages students to freely voice their concerns without fear of reprisal, advises mutual respect among students, and discourages any form of incitement or vindictive behavior. It supports students who have been denied entitled services and ensures officials are responsive, accountable, and fair in their dealings with students. The committee also reviews and reports on grievance cases, aiming for impartial and effective resolutions within specified timeframes.

Functions of Grievance Redressal Committee:

  • The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, and judge its merit. The Grievance cell is also empowered to look into matters of harassment.
  • Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the principal in person, or in consultation with the Committee.
  • In case the person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell at Administrative Block. Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the [email protected] or online complaint form .
  • The cases will be attended promptly on receipt of written grievances from the students. The Grievance Cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with the necessary documents.
